It is with great sadness that I have to report that Car News with Dan Rosenberg is no longer going to be airing on KFWB News/Talk 980 in Los Angeles. After 2 and a half years of talking about buying and selling cars to the Los Angeles market (the largest and best car market in the nation), great ratings success (no matter what time slot they moved the show to), great guests, from Adam Carolla to P.J. O'Rourke and literally thousands of great callers, it is time to move on. 

This week I was informed that, once again, after building up an audience at this time slot, the show was either to be cancelled or moved to the 6am slot. In the radio business it is common for shows to just "disappear" and for the host and listeners to never get a chance to say good-bye. I was hoping for a final show at 7am so I could announce the new time slot and hopefully get some of you to set that alarm clock a little bit earlier so we could continue to do the show. I was told that this was not an option and that I could just move to 6am, where no one would even know I was there, or call it quits. I decided that there had to be a better way to do this show, so, since I wasn't given the opportunity to do a final show at the 7am time slot I have parted ways with KFWB.

 I will be relaunching a new, internet only based show soon and I hope you join me to continue the conversation about buying, selling, trading, leasing, credit....whatever!
